Welcome to the all new Helmet-History.com website. This site is dedicated to the history of football helmet designs. This site spans from NFL, college and even custom helmet designs. This website depicts the designs on mini football helmets. So any size information is 50% scaled down from actual full size dimensions.

If you would like to contribute to the site with information, decals, pictures or even financial donations contact me for more information. When submitting pictures a simple white backdrop will do and get close for details. Please shoot the helmet's RIGHT side unless a single decal on the LEFT is on the helmet. I will retouch your photos and crop them to size. If you like I will also give you a photo credit for helping out.

If there are any coaches, equipment managers, players, or other collectors out there that have information please send it my way. I would like to add your team's missing information to the web site. You can email me for a mailing address. I am also willing to pay for any decals, shipping or send you a SASE to make the transfer of decals easier. Old media guides are another great source for team helmet information.
